At GELITA, many people work in a wide variety of areas. In each issue of uptodate we introduce you to one of them, so that you know who is working for you where. This time: Simone Augustin, who is responsible for customer service at GELITA. She has been working for GELITA since 2003 and lives in a small village in rural Odenwald. Simone Augustin has two grown-up sons, she loves being close to nature and is keen on hiking, jogging, cycling, yoga and dancing.

What is your job at GELITA?

In our Customer Service Team I look after our GELITA MEDICAL and Photo/Technical customers. This means that I process your orders from inquiry and quotation to order, delivery and preparation of all documents and finally invoicing. I am also available to you as a central contact for all questions.

What do you value in your work and what is particularly important to you?

GELITA is a great employer that is doing a good job of getting us through the difficult times of the pandemic. We are a really great team here and my job offers a lot of variety. I always look forward to working with my customers and appreciate the fair, trusting and reliable collaboration. A very close personal contact is established with some contacts. I think that getting to know each other personally is not only important for customer loyalty, but also helpful in clarifying questions more easily and meeting customer requirements better.
